BGN House System

Set - Up

4 houses:
- Assisi (Red)
- Bakhita (Yellow)
- Calcutta (Green)
- Devereux (Blue)
All students, Years 7 – 13, have been randomly put into the 4 houses
All staff & support staff are assigned to a house. The Director of Sport and Head Teacher are the only 2 neutral staff
Each house has a Head of House (member of staff), School Captain (a 6th former) and a Girl & Boy House captain in each year
Each house has a House notice board displaying the House logo. The logos were designed by students and based around the Saint after which the House was named.

Throughout the Year

An over all cup will be awarded after sports day
All inter-house events & sports day contribute points to overall cup
All merits and commendations contribute points to overall cup
There is a running programme of inter-house sports events & at least 1 event from each subject area

That we will not take the good things in life for granted
